APPLICATION DETAILS
The City of Moncton has received a request for variance to construct a 6-storey multiple residential unit development, containing 53 residential units. The property is zoned MU (Mixed-Use Zone).
To accommodate this development, the following variances are required:
- Height of building – increase permitted height from 4 to 6 storeys
- Encroach flankage yard setback in part (2.25m into adjusted 4.5m set back after averaging formula as per s108 of ZBL)
- Encroach front yard setback (5m to 2m in part)
- Increase permitted percentage of lot area occupied by parking spaces and parking aisle from 35% to 42%
