The City of Moncton is proud to present its seventh annual Heritage Week, taking place from Tuesday, October 13 to Saturday, October 17. This week-long celebration offers something for all ages, with a variety of events that showcase the city's rich built and cultural heritage.
Heritage Week is a chance to explore Moncton’s past while celebrating the vibrant, diverse community it has become today.
This year’s highlights include:
- “Heritage in the Making”: an interactive, educational pop-up event with stonemason, Scott Harris and artist, Natt Cann.
- Guided walking tour of the Université de Moncton’s Léopold-Taillon building.
- The annual Heritage Awards Ceremony, recognizing individuals and organizations making a difference in heritage conservation.
- The popular Doors Open event, featuring exclusive guided tours of three exceptional heritage properties.
All events are presented in collaboration with the City of Moncton, the Heritage Conservation Board, Downtown Moncton Centre-Ville Inc., and other community partners.
