Ribfest returns to Moncton June 18–21 alongside inaugural Hub City Motorcycle Rally Posted on March 12, 2026 in News The City of Moncton is pleased to announce the return of Ribfest to Riverfront Park, taking place June 18–21, 2026, in partnership with the inaugural Hub City Motorcycle Rally. The combined event will bring four days of food, bikes, entertainment, and tourism activity to downtown Moncton.Following eleven successful years under the leadership of the Rotary Club of Moncton West and Riverview, the event will continue under new community leadership. The City thanks the Rotary Club for their dedication and for making Ribfest a signature summer event. Ribfest will continue the tradition of giving back to the community, ensuring that this successful event not only entertains but also supports local causes and initiatives that benefit Moncton residents. “Ribfest has become a highlight of the summer for residents of Moncton, and we are proud to see it continue in partnership with new organizers and the Hub City Motorcycle Rally,” says Deputy Mayor Paulette Theriault. “Events like this bring our downtown to life, support local businesses, and attract visitors from across Atlantic Canada and beyond. We are thrilled to see this tradition grow and evolve.”The Hub City Motorcycle Rally marks the return of a large-scale motorcycle gathering in Moncton. Rally programming will include a riverfront vendor village, scenic regional rides, dealership activations, and interactive activities designed to showcase the region’s attractions. The event layout will largely remain the same as previous editions, with minor adjustments to accommodate motorcycle festival elements, ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience for all.Ribfest will feature award-winning ribbers from across North America, alongside additional food vendors, a licensed area, live musical entertainment, and local artisans. The event site at Riverfront Park will offer family-friendly programming and free public access.“We’re excited to see an event that pairs Ribfest with a motorcycle festival, similar to the successful combination seen at RibFest/Atlanticade,” says Jaime Williams, Camp 31 (ribber) representative. “There’s nothing better than serving mouthwatering, slow-smoked BBQ to thousands of people while live music plays and the bikes roll in.
