Street Closure on Main Street

Location: Between Highfield Street and Bonaccord Street 

Date: Tuesday, Feb. 10, 2026 

Time: 8 a.m. to 12 p.m.

Work details: Placing a crane at 1005 Main St (Crowne Plaza) for delivery of elevator materials. 

Traffic impact: West-bound traffic will be reduced to one lane. No left turning lane (onto Canada Street) will be activated. Sidewalk will be blocked during lifting of materials. Signage and flaggers will be on site to allow the safe flow of traffic around the work area.
