YMCA Moncton North All-Wheels Park Now Open

 

MONCTON – The City of Moncton and the Greater Moncton YMCA are proud to announce the grand opening of the YMCA Moncton North All-Wheels Park, located between the YMCA North End playground and Twin Oaks Drive! 

Through partnership with the YMCA, the public now has a new space to use their roller-skates, skateboards, scooters, and BMX bikes. The park was developed using feedback and consultation from the public.

“The new all-wheels park is a great addition to the neighbourhood and to the City,” says Moncton Mayor Dawn Arnold. “Creating more places where everyone has the opportunity to play and be active is a guiding principle of our Recreation Master Plan.”

The grand opening will take place at the park on June 21 from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. The public is encouraged to join in on the celebrations with a ribbon cutting ceremony, demonstrations from Working Class Skate Shop, and a chance to win prizes.
