Moncton's Playboxes are now available!

A playbox is a container filled with a variety of gently used outdoor play equipment for community members to enjoy. It’s as simple as play, return, donate!

Everyone is invited to borrow and play with the equipment and return it when they’re done. Residents are encouraged to donate any used recreation equipment that they wish to contribute to their local playbox.

In order to access the playbox, residents must register for a lock combination by completing the following form below. 

Here are some tips for keeping the playbox in great shape and ready for play:

  • Please return equipment to the playbox when done.
  • Carefully close lid and lock the playbox before leaving.
  • Add to the playbox by donating new or gently used equipment.
  • Call 506-853-3333 if you notice the playbox has been damaged or needs attention.

The municipality is not responsible for the condition of the items in the playbox. Guardians should inspect the equipment to ensure it is age appropriate and in good condition prior to use.
