Throughout the city, neighbourhood park spaces and playgrounds can be enjoyed by all ages. While visiting the city's parks and trails, don't forget to #ShareTheTrail!
Moncton boasts many neighbourhood parks that welcome residents, visitors and leashed pets year-round. These smaller parks include multi-purpose playgrounds, various recreational amenities and a number of splash pads to help beat the summer heat. Others are green spaces with trees and benches.
The recreation areas by-law prohibits the use of parks outside of the designated hours of operation. Littering, hunting, overnight camping and use of motorized vehicles on trails are also prohibited. Permits are also required to host festivals and events at any municipal recreational space. Alcohol, tabacco and drugs are prohibited.
Organize neighbourhood get-togethers with minimal individual responsibilities.
