Greg Turner

Councillor-at-Large

Greg Turner is serving his second term on Moncton City Council. He was elected in 2016 and served until 2020, when he was elected to represent Moncton South in the New Brunswick Legislative Assembly. He was re-elected to Council in 2026.

Turner brings a wealth of public service, business, and community leadership experience to Council. A small business owner and entrepreneur, he owned Colpitts Men's Wear and Show Associates Inc., and founded Speed Sport East Custom Car and Hot Rod Show and Turner's Christmas at the Coliseum. He sold the businesses in 2016. 

As MLA, he held a number of ministerial portfolios, including Opportunities NB; Small Business and Economic Development; Post-Secondary Education, Training and Labour; and Immigration.

Turner has a long history of volunteerism. He is past-president of the Rotary Club of Moncton West and Riverview and the Fundy Trail Parkway, and has held board roles with Hospice Southeast NB, Downtown Moncton Centre-ville Inc., the Marché Moncton Market Complex Commission, Moncton Industrial Development Inc., and Events Moncton. 

Turner holds a degree from Sir George Williams (now Concordia) University and was inducted into the Maritime Motorsports Hall of Fame. He was awarded the Queen Elizabeth II Platinum Jubilee Medal in 2023.
