Julianna Mutch is serving her first term on Moncton City Council. She was elected in 2026.

She has worked in the federal public service since 2019 and is currently employed by the Canada Revenue Agency in sustainable development policy and governance.

Mutch is passionate about community service and volunteerism. She has volunteered as an intake officer with the Peter McKee Community Centre since 2021 and led the Junior Chef program, a collaboration between the Centre and Crandall University, from 2023 to 2026. Mutch also served as a coach and referee with Moncton Kiwanis Minor Basketball League for 10 years and is an active member of the Rotary Club of Moncton West and Riverview, volunteering with the Forest Glen School Breakfast Program and other Rotary initiatives.

Mutch attended Acadia University where she earned a Bachelor of Arts with a double major in politics and French as well as a Bachelor of Education. She also holds a Master of Public Service from the University of Waterloo.

She is committed to community-building, civic engagement, and youth leadership and to serving residents in the official language of their choice. Her priorities include improving public safety; enhancing active transportation options, including public transit and traffic calming; supporting youth and seniors; and investing in recreational infrastructure.
