City of Moncton Things to Do Events Event Application Form Event Application Form The City of Moncton supports a variety of events and festivals throughout the year. Our event coordinators can assist non-profit event organizers with every step of the planning process. Outdoor Event Zones This application form is intended for non-profit organizers looking to hold events that are free, open, and accessible, in one of Moncton’s outdoor event zones. Applications must be submitted at least 30 days prior to the event to allow for processing. Allow 45 days for events that include alcohol and 90 days for requests that include a street closure.Please note that event zones are available on a first come, first served basis. Event zone reservations allow the City of Moncton to confirm no conflicting bookings; however, these areas must remain open to all users and public access cannot be restricted. The event is inclusive, accessible, and available to the community at large. The event occurs on municipal property. The event is annual or occurs infrequently. The event contributes to enhanced quality of life in Moncton.
