Parking Lots

Public parking lots are conveniently located throughout the city. They offer hourly, evening, weekly and monthly parking. Parking in both public and private lots is strictly enforced. Be sure to carefully read all parking signage before you leave your car.

The City operates numerous parking lots:

  • Alma Parking Garage (28 Alma Street) – 225 spaces
  • Moncton Place (Moncton City Hall, 655 Main Street) – 135 spaces
  • Riverfront Park (150 Assomption Boulevard) – 100 spaces 
  • Moncton Market (120 Westmorland Street) – 39 spaces
  • Robinson Street (along Robinson Street) – 10 metered spaces, 12-hour maximum
  • Seymour Parking Lot (along Seymour Court) - 22 spaces 

Parking Fees

For overnight parking (between 6 p.m. and 6 a.m.) in any lot during any day of the week, there is a flat fee of $3. As of 6:01 a.m., you will be charged the hourly rate, where applicable (example: if you park between 6 p.m. and 6 a.m. on a weeknight and leave the garage at 6:30 a.m. the following day, you will be charged the overnight flat fee and the hourly rate for the time between 6 a.m. and 6:30 a.m.) ($3 + $2.50 = $5.50).

City-owned lots do not accept cash payment.

Monthly Parking

Monthly parking is available for $160 per month (plus HST) at the following locations: Alma Parking Garage, Moncton Place (Moncton City Hall) and Moncton Market. Monthly parking is available for $125 per month (plus HST) for the Riverfront Park lot. There is no monthly parking for the Seymour Parking Lot.
