Street Sweeping

Street sweeping removes dirt and debris from the roads and sidewalks and also helps reduce the amount of dirt that ends up in our sewer system. Street sweeping operations are mainly done throughout the night when traffic is at its lowest.  Priority streets are swept twice before residential streets are swept once. This is due to higher traffic volumes which creates larger amounts of debris to be cleaned up.
