Street Reconstruction on Sumner Avenue - Water service between Hastings Street and Argyle Street will be affected; no through traffic at Lorne Street and Sumner Avenue
The City of Moncton wishes to advise the public of interruptions to water service and traffic for sections of Sumner Avenue on Monday, June 26 from 7 a.m. until 7 p.m. During this period, there will be a temporary interruption in the water supply to Sumner Park, including the splash pad and the neighboring residences. The intersection of Lorne Street and Sumner Avenue will be closed to motorists for the duration of this work.
Outdoor pools and splash pads open June 24
The City’s two outdoor pools open for the season Saturday, June 24. Centennial Park Pool and East End Pool will be open daily from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., with lap swims from 7 a.m. to 9 a.m. on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday at Centennial Park and Tuesday and Thursday at the East End Pool.

Jones Lake and Centennial Park Lake Closed to Recreation
The City of Moncton wishes to inform residents that due to high counts of E. Coli bacteria found during routine testing, Jones Lake and the lake at Centennial Park are closed to recreational use until further notice. Kayaking, canoeing, and other recreational activities are prohibited, and pet owners are asked to keep their dogs out of the water and not let them drink or swim in the water.

Lane Closure on Main Street - Between Lutz Street and Foundry Street
The City of Moncton wishes to advise the motoring public that the sidewalk and westbound lane on Main Street, between Lutz Street and Foundry Street, will be closed from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Tuesday, June 20. Westbound traffic will be detoured to Lutz Street, Queen Street and Bonaccord Street.
