Juried Exhibition Form

The Moncton Gallery, located in Moncton City Hall, invites artists to take part in the annual Juried Exhibition. Works selected by the jury will be on display in the gallery during the months of September and October.

ELIGIBILITY
Artists must be residents of the counties of Albert, Westmorland or Kent. Each artist may submit one work only. A jury of peers will choose a selection of works from the submissions received.

ART ACQUISITION
The City of Moncton may purchase an artwork from the works selected for the Moncton Gallery Juried Exhibition. The artwork must be deemed appropriate for the art collection based on the selection criteria included in the City’s Art Acquisition Policy(available at moncton.ca).

SUBMISSIONS 
Artwork must be original and have been created within the past two years. The attached form must be filled out completely and affixed to the back of your submission. Art that is not accompanied by this form will not be accepted. All submissions must be suitably framed and ready for hanging.

ARTWORK DROP-OFF 
Artwork must be delivered to Council Chambers at City Hall, on Tuesday, September 3 between 12 and 4 pm. Submissions will not be accepted after this date and time. The artist is responsible for unpacking their artwork and taking their packaging with them. Subsequently, the artist is responsible for re-wrapping upon pick-up.

ACCEPTANCE NOTIFICATION 
Only artists whose work is chosen will be notified by telephone or email the afternoon of the following day, Wednesday, September 4.

ARTWORK PICK-UP 
Artwork not chosen must be picked up on Thursday, September 5, at the above drop-off location between 9:30 am and 1 pm. The City of Moncton will not be responsible for works not picked up at this time.

SCULPTURAL WORK 
Please note that only sculptural work may be submitted as original work, photos or digitally. 

Form must be affixed to the back of the artwork. ONE SUBMISSION PER ARTIST
