Kate Doyle
Kate Doyle is serving her first term on Moncton City Council. She was elected in 2026.
Doyle has 15 years of experience working in the non-profit sector, including roles with Music New Brunswick, AIDS Moncton, the United Way of Greater Moncton and Southeastern New Brunswick, and in community development with the Horizon Health Network. She is currently employed with the federal Department of Women and Gender Equality.
Doyle holds a Bachelor of Integrated Studies from University of New Brunswick with a focus on family violence issues and leadership. She was awarded the Queen Elizabeth II Golden Jubilee Medal in 2002 and was a Chamber of Commerce for Greater Moncton Top 20 Under 40 recipient.
An active community organizer, Doyle has been involved with initiatives including the Garden Hill Playbox, community yard sales, and annual neighbourhood potlucks. She has also volunteered with Read NB as an adult literacy tutor, the annual production of The Nutcracker at the Capitol Theatre, Legs for Literacy, the Run for Women, and has served as the Government of Canada Workplace Charitable Campaign coordinator.
Doyle is interested in intersectionality and equity in public administration, social return on investment, and empowering grassroots community development.
