Parking Restrictions

Parking is permitted on most city streets except when parking restrictions are in place or when snow-clearing and ice removal operations are expected. Parking restrictions are signed as per the Traffic and Parking By-Law.

The City of Moncton imposes parking restrictions on residential streets  to ensure  safe movement of traffic for all road users (motorists, cyclists, and pedestrians). Parking restrictions are reviewed in accordance with the Installation of Traffic and Parking Control Devices Policy.
