Everything gets better when you get active!

Join the ParticipACTION Community Better Challenge for the month of June by simply downloading the ParticipACTION app and track your physical activity.

The ParticipACTION Community Better Challenge is an annual event that gets Canadians across the country moving together. As part of this initiative, a circuit has been set up at Mapleton Park from June 1st to June 30th, 2021 just in time for Parks and Recreation Month. There are 3 workout options for you to enjoy, and you get to decide whether to walk or jog to complete these. The whole circuit takes approximately an hour to complete, depending on speed and endurance level of participants.

Join us every Tuesday during the month of June at Mapleton Park Lodge between 6-7 p.m. for a guided warmup prior to doing the circuit.

Mobile Fun

The YMCA of Greater Moncton and the City of Moncton have partnered up again this year to bring the residents of Moncton the best Summer yet with the Mobile Fun Team from June 28th until August 20th. There will be 2 Mobile Fun Teams visiting 25 parks in the Moncton area. They will have a weekly rotating schedule, visiting each park for 2 hours per visit.   Activities will take place rain or shine, except in the event of extreme weather conditions. When you see the Mobile Fun Team pull-up at a neighborhood park near you, you can be sure there will be plenty of games and lots of fun! Children and families will be expected to followthe COVID-19 protocols established by the provincial government. Make sure you get outside and join in on the fun at your neighborhood playground.

Schedule and park locations coming soon. Stay tuned!
